From June 5 to 9, 2017, the third international workshop on Atmospheric Composition and Asian Monsoon(ACAM) hosted by ECI was held at Jinan University.

160 domestic and foreign scholars from 17 countries including China, the United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, Nepal and India attended the meeting.The workshop published more than 70 keynote reports and 50 posters on four scientific hot issues, conducting air quality, aerosols and clouds, convection and chemistry .

On the University’s side, Jun Hu, principal of the University, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a speech. He pointed out the important role that scientific efforts dedicated to China’s “Belt and Road” initiative.

Hu Jun hopes that the convening of this workshop will provide a good platform for scientific and technological cooperation in the fields of atmospheric environment and climate research for researchers in East Asia and South Asia, and build a bridge between culture and friendship. At the same time, it promotes the development of our environment and climate disciplines and international exchanges, and further enhances our academic status and international influence.
